I am lucky enough to live in beautiful south devon  on the coast which gives me constant inspiration for my work.  Fusing and lampwork are my obsessions . Fusing came first!    I decide on a design and usually sketch it out.  Then the challenge is interpreting it into the glass given all it's restrictions of compatability and change within the kiln. This can be very exciting but also has it's frustrations....highs and lows!

Lampworking came a little later.  It is always a thrill to work in the flame and see the processes of change before my very eyes, introducing new colours and shapes as the feeling takes me!

All my glass  pieces are handmade by me in my workshop using inclusions of foils, metals , chemicals and enamels. I often add silver and semi-precious  stones to my jewellery.

The beads are annealed in a digital kiln for durability.

My work is sold through galleries, shows and on the internet.I have been featured on the Discovery Home and Leisure Television Channel which showed some of my work.
