I live in the UK and have been playing with glass in various forms for about 8 years. I work in both fusing and lampwork in contemporary styles. Fusing came first!  I use float glass as a base in my pieces and introduce other elements.  I decide on a design and usually sketch it out first,  then the challenge is interpreting it into the glass given all it's restrictions of compatability and change within the kiln!

Lampworking came a little later.  It is exciting to work in the flame and see the processes of change before my very eyes, introducing new colours and shapes as the feeling takes me!

All my glass  pieces are handmade by me in my workshop using inclusions of foils, metals , chemicals and enamels. I often add silver and semi-precious  stones to my jewellery.

The beads are annealed in a digital kiln for durability.

My work is sold through galleries, shows and on the internet.I have been featured on the Discovery Home and Leisure Television Channel which showed some of my work.
